At Pwrteams, we believe that strong teams grow in strong communities and giving back is one way we help make that happen.
In Bulgaria, this belief has taken shape through the Pwrteams Giving Programme, our main social impact initiative in the country for more than 17 years. Built around long-term partnerships and a company-matching fund, the programme turns individual generosity into collective impact.
In 2025, through the company-matching fund and additional charity and community-led campaigns, Pwrteams Bulgaria donated EUR 15 695, supporting educational initiatives across the country, responding to urgent community needs and contributing through fundraising and hands-on community activities.
Support for better education
Over the years, the Pwrteams Giving Programme’s focus has been mainly on supporting education and creating better learning opportunities for young people in Bulgaria. In 2025, we continued collaborating with leading education-related organisations that align with our mission.
Among the long-standing partners we supported during the year were Telerik School Academy, Teach for Bulgaria, Education without Backpacks and the Natural Sciences Olympic Teams Association – organisations that play an important role in strengthening the education system and helping young people thrive.
While supporting educational initiatives remains our priority, 2025 reminded us that community care also means responding when people are under pressure. Following the increased number of wildfires in Bulgaria last summer, we allocated up to 10% of the programme’s funds to organisations involved in disaster response and recovery.
One of the organisations we supported during this period was the National Association of the Volunteers in the Republic of Bulgaria, which unites and supports volunteers working to prevent and respond to disasters, fires and other emergency situations.
Volunteering and other campaignsOutside of the company-matching fund, in 2025, team members in Bulgaria got involved in a variety of
initiatives, driven by employee energy and generosity. Volunteering campaigns, charity bazaars and sports events were among the activities colleagues have been engaged in during the year.
These efforts may appear modest in scope, but they’re often the ones that build the strongest sense of community.
