Can you tell us about your journey within Pwrteams and how it led you to your new role?
I began my journey with the company in 2017 as a Travel Manager. I was truly inspired by the environment that encouraged growth, and I decided to build my career here. At the time, this position was part of the HR department, so I spent a lot of time with the HR team. I found their work interesting and wanted to learn how the department worked, so I took some external courses.
Later on, I asked the company to involve me in additional HR-related tasks and activities. At first, it was things like tracking sick leave and holidays, and gradually I was given more responsibilities. In 2020, I officially moved into an HR Manager role. I completed several trainings and courses and eventually progressed to a senior level.
When the Head of People and Culture office position opened up within the company earlier this year, I decided to apply. It is curiosity that has led me to each new chapter in my life.
Looking back at your time at Pwrteams, what are some key lessons or experiences that shaped your growth?
One of the key lessons for me was allowing myself to see more and remain curious about different approaches. Working through my own limiting beliefs, giving myself permission to make mistakes and trying again and again. Learning to understand myself and being able to offer a helping hand to others.
I realised that empathy is not a weakness – on the contrary, it helps to better understand people and contributes to building a healthy environment. The key is to use it wisely.
What excites you the most about leading the People & Culture team in Ukraine?
First and foremost, it’s the environment – the opportunity to go through challenging times together with incredible people. It’s a powerful feeling to witness individuals with different backgrounds and strengths come together to shape one strong brand.
I’m also excited about being involved in strategic decision-making and having a real impact on how we grow as a team and as a company.
What are some of the priorities or goals you’ve set for yourself and the team in this new chapter?
One of my main goals is to build a culture of support and continuous feedback. On a broader scale, we are going through a national-level transformation, and our contribution genuinely shapes the future.
I believe that fostering a healthy, supportive environment helps both the business and every individual within it to grow. Сreating this kind of culture is my responsibility.
What advice would you give to people who are looking to grow their careers within the company?
First and foremost – always strive for both personal and professional growth. Take the time to understand the company’s needs and align them with your own expectations. Don’t be afraid to ask questions, and cultivate a mindset of: “What can I, as a person and a professional, contribute to the company?”
That kind of attitude opens doors and creates real impact.
How would you describe your leadership style – and what kind of culture do you hope to foster within the team?
I strive to cultivate a culture of trust and accountability. I believe that everyone can make mistakes, but what matters most is the ability to learn from them.
My team gives me strong support as a leader, and in return, I want to create the most empowering environment possible for their professional growth.
What’s the most rewarding part of working in P&C for you personally?
For me, the most rewarding part is being the bridge between the business and the people – even though it’s not always easy.
I’m grateful to be surrounded by great professionals, to keep learning and growing alongside them, and to help create systems where colleagues can truly thrive and realise their full potential.
What are you passionate about outside of work? How do you typically recharge?
I love spending time in nature – it’s what truly helps me recharge. Whether it’s cycling, riding a motorcycle, or simply being in the forest or near water, those moments bring me balance.
I’m also passionate about personal development and often take courses related to self-growth, coaching, and psychology. The more I understand myself, the easier it is to recognise what genuinely brings me joy – not what’s expected by the outside world.
