This edition features Agnieszka Dominik, Head of People & Culture at Pwrteams Poland. With over a decade of HR leadership experience in the tech and engineering sectors, Agnieszka brings both heart and structure to everything she does. Since joining in 2024, she’s played a key role in strengthening our Kraków office culture, enhancing employee wellbeing and leading strategic people-focused initiatives that reflect our core values of trust, flexibility and collaboration.

In this conversation, Agnieszka shares what drew her to Pwrteams, what energises her in her role and why she believes the right culture can empower people to do their best work.

Tell us a bit about yourself. How did your professional journey lead you to Pwrteams? 

My professional journey has long been connected with engineering and technology companies - it’s thanks to those experiences that I gained the knowledge and skills I now bring to Pwrteams.

When I came across the opportunity to join this team, I was drawn not only by the company’s innovation and international reach, but also by the atmosphere of mutual respect and openness I felt from the very first conversations. It was a clear sign for me - this is a place where I belong and where I can truly add value.

You’ve led HR teams in various companies and industries. What makes the People & Culture function at Pwrteams special?

People & Culture at Pwrteams is a team that doesn’t stand still – we’re growing as dynamically as the company itself. We’re focused on innovation – we’ve successfully completed the digitisation of employee records and introduced a new learning and development system.

We’re not just operational - we act strategically, responding to the real needs of both our people and the business.

How do you and your team help create an environment where people can thrive and feel they belong?

We work with creativity, dedication and heart. We strive for consistency in everything we do - both locally within Pwrteams Poland and globally within Nortal. Every member of our team brings something unique. We support each other, show appreciation and welcome everyone with open arms. We love face-to-face interactions in our Kraków office, but flexibility and remote work are also key elements of our culture. It’s all built on mutual trust, and it works both ways.

What’s one thing about this role that you’ve particularly enjoyed so far?

What brings me the most satisfaction is hearing that our employees and contractors feel supported and valued. This feedback tells us we’re doing something meaningful.

I also truly enjoy working with my team – I’m incredibly proud of them. This company wouldn’t be the same without them. Even though I’ve only been here for a year, it feels like a decade filled with positive energy and action! :)

How would you describe the culture at Pwrteams Poland?

Our culture is rooted in respect, trust and collaboration. We value flexibility – both internally and in our relationships with clients. They shape the trends, and we’re here to grow alongside them. Client focus, openness to change and genuine partnership are the foundations of our everyday work.

What does a great day at work look like for you?

Every day is a success for me – even the most challenging ones, because they help us grow. The perfect day? Everything runs on time, and our people feel supported and satisfied. That’s what truly matters to me.

When you’re not working, how do you recharge?

My family is my safe haven – my husband and two daughters are my everyday power bank. I also take care of my well-being: cardio workouts, walks, a good book (preferably a crime novel), restful sleep, healthy food, travel, and, above all, laughter. That’s the best way to recharge. I highly recommend it!

What’s one piece of advice you’d give to someone starting their journey with Pwrteams?
