We are extremely happy to invite you to our first Tech MeetUp for the year! On 26 April we are going to talk about functional thinking and why it is more a way of thinking than a tool set or syntactics.

During the talk, our colleagues Nikolay Penchev, Senior Software Engineer and Dimitar Yoldov, Back-end Software Engineer at the Funding Circle team at Pwrteams will present why developers are falling in love with functional programming. They will share multiple examples that include using Clojure and Java. The presentation will be divided into five parts:

  • Introduction
  • Functions
  • Laziness
  • Composition
  • Functional Data Structures

In the end, all the participants will have the opportunity to learn plenty of interesting facts, ask questions and to initiate a discussion with the speakers. Make sure to join us!
