Tech Community Manager

Join Pwrteams as we establish a dedicated Growth function, aimed at enhancing our customer engagements, strengthening our footprint in existing markets (Europe & US), and broadening and diversifying our service offerings.

The role of the Tech Community Manager is all about building up and leading the Pwrteams Community & Networking platform – a dedicated place to connect our customers, and tech market experts and share our deep market knowledge globally.

You will build and maintain an educational and networking platform for existing and potential customers and employees, promoting dialogue around the emerging trends in the tech industry and first-hand best practice sharing between our customers, tech industry experts and other market players.

What you'll do

  • Development and management of the Community & Networking platform for existing and potential customers, employees and other tech market players
  • Finetuning and keeping the platform strategy up-to-date
  • Creating and maintaining the community of platform members
  • Developing the agenda of the virtual events, identifying the most attractive topics and cases
  • Promoting events via different channels, including social networks
  • Searching for speakers and special guests
  • Hosting and moderating the events
  • Managing event registrations and post-event communication & connections
  • Organizing and facilitating a yearly summit on-site for Community & Networking platform members
  • Promoting dialogue & best practice exchange bw different industry experts and players
  • Representing Pwrteams in tech conferences and other related events, incl. panel speaking
  • Establishing connections and partnerships that can accelerate growth, such as cooperations with other IT staff augmentation companies, universities, research institutes, tech platforms and communities, to meet the growing market demand on new services and leverage the reputation of Pwrteams

What we're looking for

  • Experience in community building and management
  • Interest and knowledge in tech market trends
  • Proven track record in key account management, B2B networking
  • Proven track record in event management on- and offsite, incl. hybrid
  • Experience in writing advertisements for social media
  • Experience in moderation of webinars and seminars, incl panel speaking
  • Own network of contacts and previous engagement in tech businesses would be considered as a big advantage
  • Proficiency in English
  • Higher education
