About the project

The role offers a great opportunity to join the multi-tasking team, working on the development of clients’ projects, from concept to design and creation. Moreover, you will have an opportunity to be engaged in the implementation of international projects that cover businesses from countries all around the globe! You will work with multi-functional teams and have a lot of opportunities to learn, get new experiences from the professionals, grow, and also coach other colleagues.

What you'll do

Full SDLC:

• Work together with the project manager, the product owner, and the customer
• Coach other members of the development team
• Write reusable code and follow the latest developments in the field of Magento web design and development
• You will build both beautiful front-ends (Hyvä) and user-friendly back-ends for enterprise web applications
• You will adapt or integrate third-party software with existing open-source applications (Magento)
• Own, create, review, and provide feedback on technical design proposals and proof of concepts
• Mentor and be mentored by other engineers by leading and collaborating in engineering discussions and preaching engineering best practices

What we're looking for

• 4+ years of professional background in Magento 2

• Understanding of the Magento business processes

• Knowledge of Magento front-end technologies (Hyvä)

• Good knowledge of OOP: design patterns, SOLID, best practices of application architecture

• Proficient experience with GIT

• Upper-intermediate level of English

• Excellent communication skills

Nice to have

• Certificates in Magento

• Knowledge of Symfony

• Experience in Jira or Confluence
