Mobile is a global team within TUI technology responsible for TUI’s Mobile apps and Global Payment solutions. We are a multi-disciplinary team of experts across Architecture, Engineering, DevOps and Agile Delivery providing services across the UK, Ireland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Austria, Belgium, The Netherlands and Aviation, Cruises and destinations worldwide.

What you'll do

  • Join a team that strives to deliver operation excellence, ensure and improve reliability, performance, and maintainability of systems and services
  • Ensure observability of systems and services, support change and configuration management
  • Involvement in raising operational readiness requirements as part of the development life cycle and validating software development and delivery is consistent, meeting the specified requirements
  • Improve CI/CD and automation maturity and efficiency
  • Support the team with efficient incident handling and quick reaction to production problems

What we're looking for

  • Hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
  • Experience managing scaled cloud systems focused on solution architecture, the various tools and services, infrastructure-as-code (Terraform and Terragrunt) and DevSecOps practices
  • Strong experience with monitoring/observability solutions, preferably Datadog, as well as with incident response solutions, like PagerDuty
  • Background in any programming language, such as Python or Node.js
  • Good knowledge of networking and security aspects
  • Good experience with CI/CD, preferably Jenkins and GitLab CI
  • Ability to apply server operating system administrative knowledge, e.g. Linux, Windows
  • Upper-intermediate level of English
