We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Country Manager to lead our operations in Poland. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of Pwrteams' business activities in the region, including business development, client relationship management, and operational excellence. This role is ideal for a proactive and strategic leader who is passionate about fostering innovation and excellence in a rapidly evolving market.
Purpose of the role
- Responsible for the Governance, Risk and Compliance of the local entity.
- Monitor the realization of the company's business plans through the execution of expected growth and cost governance within the planned deadlines, and budgets and with high quality of provided service to clients.
- Maintain constant communication with managers, staff, and vendors to ensure proper operations of the company
- On the Horizontal level in the Organizational structure for the country – the role acts as an advisor for the divisional managers (Coordination engine for the work of all divisions) on various topics to ensure smooth and reliable operations: Leads the country-level operational meetings; Advises and helps with comprehension of the used management tools like different finance and reporting systems; Advises on how to solve cases between divisions to ensure excellent productivity and develop and propose strategies for better efficiency.
- On the Vertical level escalate possible cases, risks and exposures with pwrteams COO that may arise in any of the divisions (acts as an early alarm system for possible problems).
Job Responsibilities
Governance, Risk, Compliance- Execute all tasks and responsibilities within the scope of the General Director's competence or as an authorized individual with Power of Attorney (POA) in adherence to the company's laws, bylaws, and internal regulations. Representing the company before government and public administration authorities within the country;
- Representing the company internally and externally while adhering to the limitations outlined in the company's internal regulations;
- Ensures that the operations of the local entity comply with the laws and regulations of the country.;
- Negotiation regarding the preparation of legal documents: lease of premises, subcontracts, etc.
- Overseeing personnel affairs and employment: Ensuring the cooperation between the P&C and TA teams in the recruitment and retention of employees when necessary.
- Ensures adherence to the process of signing and archiving official documents: all contracts* signed on behalf of the entity are verified by the Legal department, registered with internal numbers, categorized, and stored in the relevant folders. Subsequently, they are transferred to the finance department for payment, including all necessary details.
- Monitor the management of office and employee expenses to align with the forecast outlined in Rolling12
- Monitoring the planned growth and income for the location;
- Advising and helping Divisional managers in solving problems related to the Finance area;
- Escalating cases of significant deviation from the planned forecast in R12.
- Ensures that Pwrteams corporate strategy and decisions are thoroughly implemented; escalate if there are any obstacles or difficulties to do so.
- Analyse the legal risks and exposures specific to the country of operation, and propose effective solutions tailored to that country's context.
- Lead the country-level operational meeting with all divisional heads- CP, P&C, TA, Fin, IT, and S&M.
- Monitoring, development and decision-making in the execution of the company's business activities.
- Ensures the execution of regular activities and processes in the operational execution of projects, as well as coordinating the executions of plans in the areas of client management, employee management, finance, legal and personnel affairs;
- Responsibilities in the area of operational activities on various projects development:
- Supervising and training of management positions in developing, planning, and delivering new strategies. Identifying, resolving, and escalating issues within the management team
- Establishing and monitoring key performance indicators and taking corrective actions when necessary.
- Ensure the rational and effective use of company resources, including financial, material, and non-material assets
- Ensure that Pwrteams delivers an excellent office service and environment, fostering streamlined working processes in the company's local offices. Coordinate and support necessary improvements for smooth office operations and address the requirements for office enhancements. Ensure the efficient use and allocation of the company's financial and material resources
- Oversees the service management of the team handling client services, including Office & Facilities, Procurement (IT equipment shared with IT team), Infrastructure (to be confirmed in the new organizational structure), Logistics, and Travel (to be confirmed by travel agent from Ukr/travel perk
- Accountable for Service Agreements related to the aforementioned services such as leases and other delivery contracts. Monitors office usage and associated costs concerning these services.
- Periodic facilitation of local all-hands meetings.
- Promoting and implementing Pwrteams values in daily activities and problem-solving;
- Monitoring activities and events to strengthen team spirit (regular team building and training).
- Oversee resource utilization and maximize the overall growth and development potential of the company, particularly in staff-related aspects;
- Proactively analyse and react to problems, seeking solutions that uphold the company's outstanding reputation through values of openness, honesty, teamwork, continuous progress, and the achievement of significant impact
- Involved in defining and enhancing the recognition of Pwrteams (Nortal brand) within the local market and internally within the company;
- Review, approve, and if needed, adapt company communications (such as press releases, announcements, internal news, etc.) to suit the local context required;
- Act as a spokesperson and ambassador for the company, enhancing recognition and strengthening the company's reputation both publicly and internally.
- Attend regular by-weekly meetings.
- Monitor and report on the execution of the planned Budget Forecast. Prepare regular reporting documents encompassing cases from all divisions; Raise and escalate cases that require attention from the Pwrteams Global Leadership Team (GLT); Work with other divisions:
- Conduct bi-weekly meetings with Division Leads, reporting all specific cases, advising managers on potential steps, and escalating issues promptly if necessary. Ensure all required documents are completed by divisional responsible parties (Trello for Clients’s status- TBC; Statistics for employees/clients/open positions)
- Monitor Financial documents for any deviation from the planned Budget Forecast, discuss with Divisional managers and reports promptly
What we're looking for
- Professional knowledge in one or more areas of business management: Finance, P&C, Outsourcing project management; Legal knowledge
- 8 years of previous professional experience in positions in fields like Finance, P&C, and Administration;
- 3 years of experience in management positions in outsourcing companies with experience in executing projects on time and within budget;
- Management of teams;
- Experience with different clients and ability to communicate with clients and solve problems within the planned scope of work;
- Ability to cooperate with senior management positions inside and outside the company;
- Ability to communicate effectively and with great presentation skills;
- Experience in establishing strong leadership teams;
- Having social skills and the ability to communicate with people on different positions;
- Understanding the requirements for all positions within the organization;
- Proactivity and developed planning abilities (strategic and tactical);
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills within the company and with external partners;
- Team leadership skills;
- Ability to learn and adapt quickly;
- Native in the local language and fluent in English.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in the relevant field;
- Level of professional education: Business administration, Finance, P&C or similar.
