eCommerce Merchandising & Operations Specialist Europe

The Role

Pwrteams is is currently looking to hire an organized and result-driven Merchandising & Commercial Operations Specialist for the direct eCommerce business of a large multinational company in Consumer Electronics.

You will join a dynamic and diversely skilled group where you will focus on the Personal Workspace & Solutions category in Europe.

You will be responsible for the planning and deployment of website merchandising activities, while also supporting the Regional Category Manager (RCM) in day-to-day business management and execution of priorities. Although the job has a commercial focus, you will also partner with Analytics (on reporting and insights) and Operations (to maximize product availability).

What you'll do

Support eCommerce growth with best-in-class merchandising execution

• Own the regional merchandising calendar and ensure timely execution of commercial and promotional activities across all European markets
• Build and deploy offers, campaign and landing pages in coordination with the Regional Category Manager and local teams
• Partner with Global Merchandising to align on best practices and ensure consistent user experience across regions
• Maximize the impact of key site placements (home, PLP, bundles, ribbons, toasters etc) based on data and commercial priorities
• Actively contribute to ongoing consumer experience improvement discussions and help articulate requirements (e.g. new functionalities)
• Support the rollout of cross-market initiatives & pilot projects by coordinating logistics and execution
• Lead operational execution for select external partnerships and campaigns in collaboration with internal stakeholders
• Manage asset readiness and coordinate with CRM, Marketing, Paid Media and Creative teams for campaign deployment

Drive execution and support the Category Manager with end-to-end operational excellence

• Provide ongoing support to the Regional Category Manager by aligning on commercial priorities, executing promo plans and helping ensure campaign readiness across platforms and countries
• Act as the go-to person for day-to-day execution of merchandising and promotional plans
• Own and maintain the regional merchandising calendar; ensure flawless and timely activation across markets
• Translate commercial priorities into concrete tasks, trackers and timelines
• Coordinate with key markets on pricebook deployment, offer mechanics and execution
• Ensure all activities are accurately tracked, documented and delivered on time
• Help identify process bottlenecks and propose improvements to streamline execution

Turn data into revenue - track and report performance, generate insights & recommendations

• Establish merchandising trackers (top SKUs, revenue per offer, revenue per page, etc)
• Partner with the Analytics team to uncover opportunities and optimize performance

Maximize availability and forecast accuracy

• Build demand plans based on SKU-level sales tracking, in alignment with the regional team
• Partner with the Operations team to adjust forecasts and remedy inventory issues

What we're looking for

• 3+ years of relevant experience with international FMCG companies or leading retailers
• University degree in eCommerce, Marketing, Digital or a related field
• Strong commercial acumen and results-driven approach
• Highly organized and comfortable supporting multiple projects in parallel
• Able to manage both operational tasks and collaboration with stakeholders
• Confident, autonomous & proactive self-starter with a hands-on attitude
• Excellent interpersonal & communication skills
• Comfortable working in multicultural, multifunctional and matrix environments
• Fluent in English; other European languages are a strong advantage
